Welcome to Episode #3 of BEAR vs PIG, on today’s show we have Michael Spinosa, you may know him as BigMike, or @fous4mike on Twitter.
Mike has been day trading for the past 4 years, and you may have seen him more famously alongside Cameron Fous and Robert Millar as part of the Fous4 trading team. Currently director of Trading at Fous4 Trading.
So first off I want to say that I’m overwhelmed by the amount of support and positive feedback this podcast has received from the community, I believe that to become a great trader, it’s incredibly important to actively seek to improve and challenge your own trading strategy and assumptions about the market. And in the spirit of this, I want to continue bringing guests on that have new and interesting perspectives on this niche and on this profession in general. Thank you for your support.
Now, on previous episodes we’ve covered a lot of ground on the technical and fundamental aspects of trading, but today we’ll be focusing on the psychological angle. The routine, the mental strength and stamina that it takes to make well rounded logical decisions day after day in the markets, despite sometimes being under an absurd amount of stress.
Many traders, including myself, pride themselves on their ability to understand the market from a technical perspective, but each and every one of us knows that it’s the ability to understand buyers and sellers from a behavioral perspective, that gives us the edge in a highly emotional market situation.
Let’s pick Mike’s brain, and see how he has developed the ability to introspect so effectively.
